We LOVE to go to tea!!

One of mine and my sisters FAVORITE things to do is go to tea!!!  We went to tea 3 times in the two weeks before Brenda left!!  Here is a shot of us at the Huntington library before having an all you can eat tea!  The next shot is of us at another tea place--this is how I feel, with my sisters, sipping berry (herbal) tea with a beautiful bouquet of roses--happy! (and really cheesy!)

Amid all the excitement of having her cousins visiting, Bella learned to swim!!  It was pretty cool to suddenly be swimming with all her beloved cousins around her.

Olvera Street

One place my whole family LOVES is Olvera street!!  We grew up going there pretty often.  We had to squeeze it in before Brenda left.  Too bad our favorite restaurant was closed that day.  We still had good food and a fun time.  Here's most of the extended family, (minus my brother and his family who couldn't join us.)  We're really going to miss Brenda and all the Jones'!!  A LOT!!!!

Swimming with our cousins in our newly-resurfaced pool!!

We spent most of June working hard getting our pool resurfaced and also putting up a new fence!!  So it was nice to enjoy the fruits of our labors by swimming almost every day when all our cousins came and stayed the week of July 16-21!  If you click on the pic of the long shot of the pool,  you'll see Craig getting pushed in by our nephews!!  It was so hot-- we had a blast cooling off with all our family.  Too bad it had to end with the Jones' moving to Japan!!!  :(

Welcome to the Gallup Family Blog!!

These pictures were taken yesterday.  My whole family (30 of us) got together to spend time and to take an extended family picture because my sister Brenda is moving to Okinawa (sob!) for 3 years!  It was actually very nerve-racking!!  (30 of us!)  This blog is mostly dedicated to my sister, Brenda, so that she can see what we're up to while she's gone.  Here are some shots of my family and extended family while we did the sitting.  I'm so sad--because I didn't get a shot of Brenda's family!  Doesn't Craig look handsome in our family picture?
