Well, we got to Eugene and immediately went to see my beautiful friend, Cheryl and her family. She was my "boss" (the nicest one you could have) back in 1992 when I worked at the Humble Bagle bakery as a baker. We have always been really close--kindred spirits. She let us stay at her home for a few days while we hung around Eugene. It was GREAT to catch up with her, we have so much in common. I wish we lived nearer to each other!
