After we left Anne, we drove straight west from Portland. We drove through Tillamook, and ended up in Newport. What a beautiful place!! We got out of the car and walked through some forest out to the ocean just in time to see the sun set and the moon rise. It was amazing. The girls ran around and played in the dunes for a while. There is nothing more beautiful to me than the forest meeting the ocean. Afterwards, we went to a place called Mo's to get fish and chips for dinner. We camped that night almost on the beach. It was cold!
