Yesterday we went to see my old band, Cubensis. We went because we wanted to celebrate the last weekend of the summer and it was at a nice kid-friendly venue on the grounds of a Renaissance fair. The show started around 6pm so it was still nice and sunny. There were lots of beautiful trees and a nice breeze blowing. The girls LOVED the little booths to play in. The band sounded especially nice. They asked me to come up and sing for the last 2 songs of the first set and the last five of the second set--Sugaree, The Music Never Stopped, Scarlet Begonias, Fire on the Mountain, Shakedown Street, Terrapin Station, and Passenger. I had a complete blast dancing and singing. Craig and the girls had a really nice time too. :) 8/31/08

"In my ninety-plus years, I have learned a secret. I have learned that when good men and good women face challenges with optimism, things will always work out! Truly, things always work out!" ~ President Gordon B. Hinckley
Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. Suzy, you are a rock star! That is so awesome to "be invited up to sing with the band." Doesn't that sound like something that happens on a TV show?
That does look like fun! But they're no Morning Glory...right? Glad everything is cool with Craig M. (for you at least)
You are amazing Suzy!!! I don't know how you do everything that you do!!!
You seriously are soooo talented and amazing!
