It was fun to light our first candle of Advent! We read a simple verse and then we sang "Silent Night." We then got to open one of the doors to our Advent calendar that has pictures that go with a sweet chapter book we started called "Mary's Little Donkey." We had dinner and then for bedtime we read the first chapter--we can tell it's going to be a wonderful book. It's so fun to open the windows that correspond with the book!
