I finally saw the movie yesterday!! Overall, I enjoyed it. Some parts were very disappointing, some parts wonderful. I'm glad I read it before seeing it so I'll always have my own perfect version in my head!
I FINALLY saw it. I liked it. I love all the Twilight series. I find all the unexplained passion, love at first sight, destiny stuff very romantic. But, I've been reading dear Jane again lately. And I just love all the level-headed, witty proper courtship. Jane is incomparable. Her heroes, heroines (and even her fools and villains) are so entertaining! It's apples and oranges and I love to have them both.
They did do a good job of making Bella cute and attractive even though she dresses and behaves very "plain." And I was happy to see that Edward didn't look like he had lipstick on.

"In my ninety-plus years, I have learned a secret. I have learned that when good men and good women face challenges with optimism, things will always work out! Truly, things always work out!" ~ President Gordon B. Hinckley
Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. Live on the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you!--Christian D. Larson

We all (me & my daughters) liked the movie, but liked the book much more. I'm glad we read it before seeing the movie, too.
I did get a kick out of seeing all the graduation caps made into a work of art! lol :)
I just read Midnight Sun off of Stephenie Meyer's website. It was so great to read as much as I could from Edwards perspective!
