After Temple Square we went to see our dear, dear friends, Michael and Monica Van Wagenen. We can't express how dear these two are to us! I actually dated Michael in HIGH SCHOOL when he was a punker and I looked like Madonna (I was 15!!) In college Craig and Michael met and then Michael eventually introduced us (in 1993? and again in 1997.) So Michael is responsible for hooking us up. There's a lot more to the story, but I'm too lazy to write it right now.
What's most important is that we spent about 6 hours eating, talking and catching up with each other and youtubing funny stuff together 'til 1:30 in the morning. We had a blast!! Monica made us a delicious dinner and even baked us cookies! Our kids had a lot of fun playing together too. We spent the night there and had a wonderful breakfast and more time to hang and talk in the morning. We hated to leave-- Thank you soooooooooooooooo much Michael and Monica! Can't wait 'til you come visit us!
